To effectively organize photos on your iPhone, follow these steps using the built-in Photos app:

  1. Create custom albums:

    • Open the Photos app.
    • Navigate to the Albums tab.
    • Tap the '+' symbol to create a new album.
    • Name the album and hit Save.
  2. Move photos into albums:

    • Choose the album you wish to populate.
    • Tap Select to mark individual photos or videos.
    • Tap the share icon (square with arrow pointing upward), then select Add to Album.
    • Choose the appropriate album to move selected items into.
  3. Manage albums:

    • Rename albums: Go to the desired album, tap the three dots (), then tap Rename Album, change the name, and hit Save.
