To create multiple profiles on Facebook, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your main Facebook account.
  2. Click on your account name at the top-right corner of the Facebook page.
  3. Select "Create another profile" and click the blue "Get started" button.
  4. Choose a unique name for the new profile.
  5. Set a username for the new profile; you can change these details later if needed.

Each additional profile will have its own display name and username, and you can create up to four additional profiles linked to your main account. These profiles have separate Feeds, friends lists, and the ability to follow Pages and groups.

To switch between profiles:

  1. Desktop web:

    • Go to Facebook.com and select your Profile picture at the top-right corner.
    • Choose "See all profiles" and switch to the desired profile.
    • Alternatively, clicking the middle of the encircling arrows icon on the profile will also switch profiles.
  2. Mobile app (Android and iOS):

    • Open the Facebook app and navigate to the section where your name is listed.
    • Select the Down arrow icon (or the Plus sign icon on iOS devices if combined with the "Create new page" option).
    • Choose the profile you want to switch to from the menu of your profiles and pages.

Please note that each profile must comply with Facebook's Community Standards. You can update privacy settings for each new profile, and your main Facebook profile won't show that you have additional personal profiles.

A few features, such as Dating, Marketplace, Professional Mode, and payments, are not available for additional personal profiles at launch, but Messenger support is available.
