While in Travel Mode, stay seated and avoid looking out the airplane's windows, which can interfere with your device's ability to track your surroundings. You should also exit Travel Mode during taxiing, takeoff, landing, and when there is turbulence.

Some additional tips for using Apple Vision Pro in Travel Mode:

  • Don't look out the airplane's windows, which can disrupt your experience.
  • Stop using Apple Vision Pro if there is turbulence.
  • Remain aware of your surroundings, as features that help you see and stay aware of your surroundings are turned off.
  • If your content appears tilted or off-center, long-press the Digital Crown to re-center your view.
  • Restarting Apple Vision Pro may turn off Travel Mode.

Persona and FaceTime calls cannot be used in Travel Mode. Also, remember that setting up your Apple Vision Pro should be done before boarding the airplane, and the device should not be set up while on board.
