To switch from Google Assistant to Gemini AI on your Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android smartphone.
  2. Search for and download the Google Gemini app if it's not already installed.
  3. Launch the Gemini app by tapping its icon.
  4. Follow the prompts and tap "Get Started" to begin the setup process.
  5. Agree to the terms and conditions.
  6. Complete the setup, and Gemini will replace Google Assistant on your phone.

To switch back to Google Assistant from Gemini:

  1. Open the Gemini app and tap your profile icon at the top corner.
  2. Select "Settings" from the menu.
  3. Scroll down and select "Digital Assistants from Google."
  4. Choose "Google Assistant" and confirm by tapping "Switch" on the prompt.

Please note that once you switch to Gemini, Google Assistant will not be the default digital assistant for voice commands like "Hey Google" or actions triggered by the power button or swiping inward from the home screen's bottom corner.
